Warehouse is  storage and handling of goods ranging from receiving, recording, storage, selection, sorting, labeling until delivery of goods,

Some Activities of Warehousing:
• Inbound Logistics:  Activities related to receiving storing, and spread the input to the product, such as material handling,warehousing, inventory control, vehicle scheduling, and return to the supplier
• Outbound Logistics: Activities relating to the collection, storage, anddistribution of physical products to the buyer, such as:  finished warehousing goods, material handling, delivery vehicle operation, order processing, and scheduling.

Mission of warehousing:
 Balance and buffer the variation of production and demand schedules.
 As the product mix
 to shorten the distance distribution

Basic Warehouse Decision
